In partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), FIFA will use the second round of matches at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ to remind billions of viewers worldwide about the importance of tackling climate change and of the threat that environmental destruction poses to our planet. As a global game, football has a powerful role to play in tackling one of the world’s biggest global challenges and #Save the Planet aims to use the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ to unite the global football community to tackle this threat and take action for future generations.
